We reach our peak fitness levels in our 30’s so from our 40’s onwards we can start to feel the natural effects of aging.  The aches and pains in the morning, the increasing waist size, the spring in our step becoming more of a clunk.  

By our 50’s and 60’s our loss of strength and fitness can become more noticeable.  Throw into the mix age-related injuries and illnesses and our quality of life starts to really be affected. 

Whether we are in our 20’s or our 70’s, many of our fitness goals remain the same: lose weight, maintain fitness, increase strength.  What changes however is our ability to do these exercises and to do them safely and effectively.  At Pinnacle, we understand this clearly and we have specific programs that focus on training for seniors. 

How are our senior training programs different?

Our senior’s programs differ in one important aspect: They are designed from the perspective of someone already in their 50’s. Our Director, Mark Pajich, knows all too well the limitations that aging can start to place on our training and this experience is shared with all our trainers to ensure that our clients are getting the right program for them.  Whether you are 75 years old and it’s your first time in a gym, or you are a life-long sportsperson with specific goals, we have programs to suit everyone.

Our centre is perfectly designed for seniors training.

  • As we are a private studio, there are no large groups so you will be able to train in comfort.

  • There is no loud, blaring music.

  • Our centre is designed to focus on functional training which is ideal for seniors. 

  • We specialise in medical fitness programs so if you have an illness or injury, we have you covered.

  • We limit the number of clients at any one time, so it is never crowded.

  • We have lift access.

  • Our director is OCD, so the gym is always spotlessly clean.
